Brand Crush: Brinker & Eliza

I came across Brinker & Eliza a couple years ago when one of my fav influencers kept posting their jewelry pieces. The chic beach/resort accessories with shell and heart details were unique and beautiful. Fast forward to now and the mother-daughter duo brand has grown exponentially, expanding their line beyond the initial shell focused pieces and incorporating vintage accents, charms, and chic gold necklaces. I finally ordered a pair of earrings that caught my eye (although I had the hardest time deciding which to order!!). The 24k gold plated metal drops have minimal touches of crystal accents and are the perfect unique piece that still maintain a classic feel. A playful accessory for a black tie optional look, but also can be worn for dressing up during everyday life – IMO, you can dress up any day, regardless of the occasion!

The mother-daughter duo started their line in 2017, however it was not until 2018 when they took the line full time. Mom, Brinker, has a background in silversmithing and metalworking, as well as having founded a previous jewelry line. Eliza, daughter, has a background in fashion merchandising. Based in Connecticut, Brinker & Eliza create each piece by hand – making every piece special. This is one of my favorite parts about the brand – thinking of mom and daughter sharing such a special bond of building their brand and creating such unique, beautiful jewelry pieces together. 


I always have a L-O-N-G list running of items I want and many of them are Brinker & Eliza. Below I tagged the firework earrings I purchased, as well as my other current favorites! I can’t wait to continue to follow along and see how the brand grows. With the amount they’ve grown and the success they have had over the last 2 years…I know big things will continue to be in their future!

Meet Kelly

Kelly McCoyd is a 30 something Florida native who made her way to Washington, DC in 2017 by way of Texas. Always with a passion for helping others, she pursued a career as a Physician Assistant and is currently working in the field of infectious diseases. While medicine takes up the majority of her day, she has always had a preoccupation with all things fashion. The idea for Kelly McCoyd came to be during a spontaneous early dinner at quintessential DC restaurant, Le Diplomate. Over a glass of sparkling rose and warm shrimp salad, Kelly decided, with the enthusiastic encouragement of Sheldon (her husband), to take the leap and start the blog.
