3 Minimalist Outfit Ideas to Wear Now & Through End of Summer

August is quickly approaching and while Fall feels like it is right around the corner, we still have plenty of warm weather and summer outfits to style in the coming weeks. Thanks to Sézane for sponsoring this post, I put together 3 minimalist outfit ideas, all while relying on wardrobe staples.

Read on for more outfit inspo!

Outfit 1

A basic tank top and classic wash denim is always a reliable outfit formula. I love the fit of this classic high neck tank top, especially the cut of the neckline. The fabric has a nice weight to it with a little elastic stretch and I found it to fit true to size. Paired with a medium/dark wash, wide leg cropped denim, the wider leg of the denim feels fresh and balances out the slim fit of the tank top. The denim is 100% cotton and does run on the smaller side, I sized up 1. I’ve noticed the denim has relaxed some with wears, but still has a smaller fit through the butt. The rise is also quite high, so depending on the length of your torso, you might note that the rise is too high for you. Finished off with black accessories, including this black belt from Sézane.

Outfit 2

I’ve had my eye on this cotton/linen blend striped button up for months now. The stripes and tan colorway perfectly compliments my other neutral basics, and I especially love how the tan pairs with olive green tones. I find that the Tomboy style shirt from Sézane runs a little small so I prefer to size up 1. The woven mini crossbody (I shortened the strap to be a shoulder length) has proven to be a reliable accessory all spring and summer long. Although it’s small, it’s mighty, and carries all my must haves. The final touch was these khaki sunnies to really pull it all together!

Outfit 3

Last but certainly not least, a little black dress is the definition of classic minimalism. The neckline on this mini sets it apart and immediately caught my attention. The dress has elastane in it, so there is a fair amount of stretch, however it does run smaller. Unfortunately, it doesn’t look like this dress is still available, but there are so many other great minimalist style dresses available from Sézane, one of my other favorites is the shirt style Pippa dress! I have it in the cream shade and found it to fit true to size.
