Shades of Blue – 13 Piece Mini Capsule

As much as I tend to gravitate towards neutrals, I also love adding in color (and more prints) during the warmer months. Capsule wardrobe styling isn’t only limited to neutrals or solids and if you’re someone that enjoys more color, my summer mini capsule series is for you! The first color in the series is devoted to blue – my favorite color 🙂 Each mini capsule will consist of about 13 pieces, incorporating new “colorful” pieces with neutrals from the larger summer capsule. Blue and white striped linen shirt: I love everything that With Nothing Underneath does – the epitome of classic, cool girl style. Plus this top comes with matching linen shorts!

Luxe White Tshirt: The tshirt I’m wearing in the reel is from Linda Meyer Hentschel. It is tailored in Italy for the perfect oversized fit. I love the longer sleeve for a more modern fit. It is more of a splurge, but beautiful, luxurious quality and not sheer. I took my normal size. 

Another white t-shirt that I love: I size up one in the Jason Scott shrunken tee. Super soft and lightweight with a slightly boxy fit. Not sheer!

White Linen Trousers: These are my favorite. I take my true size in the linen (maybe could size up 1 for a looser fit). I have to hem the regular length. I have the light birch shade, which is no longer showing on the site, but they are not overly sheer. 

French Market Tote: I got this tote bag last Spring/Summer and loved using it. It has both short and long straps for functionality. It is great for weekend errands, beach trips, farmers markets – you name it! Plus a fantastic price of under $75

Nude heel sandals: I linked a few options in the above carousal, but these are the style I have and love them! They fit true to size, but do run slightly narrow. Alohas has quickly become one of my favorite shoe brands for sustainable, on trend options.

Meet Kelly

Kelly McCoyd is a 30 something Florida native who made her way to Washington, DC in 2017 by way of Texas.
